What is the New Gold Standard for Cybersecurity in the SMB?

Many believe that "real" cybersecurity is not accessible to the Small and Mid-sized Business, but I strongly disagree. Cybersecurity is 90% about doing the basics really, really well--and the basics are absolutely accessible!

With ransomware and other cyber attacks against Managed Services Providers and SMB customers on the rise, it is worth your time to apply basic cybersecurity hygiene to your environment. Do not rely on cyber insurance and backup--you want to prevent bad things from happening in the first place! And if you do face a cybersecurity incident, you want to be able to respond quickly and remove the threat before ransomware is deployed and damage is done.

In this course, you will learn how to speak to SMB customers in plain terms about the risks that small businesses face today, and how to mitigate those risks with a thoughtful, affordable approach to cybersecurity, which any small business owner will understand. I also provide several resources to help get your practice bootstrapped immediately, laying out an easy-to-digest cybersecurity program following the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the CIS Critical Security Controls.
